The World Don't Know This Jesus Volume 1 By Samuel Harris
From a devout atheist to a devoted follower of Christ and missionary, Larry Goff despised and persecuted Christians. A local pastor had come to his home and asked him if he knew Jesus. Larry physically threw the preacher out of his house and threatened to kill him if he ever saw him again. Shortly after this, Larry's three-year-old daughter lay dying in a hospital. The same preacher was led back to Larry's house because God told him Larry had a problem. As Larry cried out to God, he felt the arm of Jesus holding him. The first words out of his mouth were The World Don't Know THIS Jesus. This book tells the story of Larry Goff and his family as they launch out on faith as few have done in modern times. The decade of the 1960's was radical in many ways. This book details the life and events of this extraordinary man during that decade.
Samuel Harris was born in Breckenridge, Texas, in 1953. His parents, Claude and June Harris, were both Texas natives born and raised in rural north central Texas in the early part of the 1900s. Claude was a Baptist preacher, and Samuel was the typical
"preacher's kid" who did not truly commit his life to the Lord until he was thirty-seven years old. However, the Lord blessed him with the love of his life, Terri George, whom he met while they were students at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. They
were married in 1976. Amy Michelle was born in 1981 and James Curtis in 1985. Both children are now married and have given Samuel and Terri five beautiful grandchildren.
